Denis Caron Bio

Denis Caron, is the artist, writer and creator of the webcomic series L.A.W.L.S. (including it’s spin-offs ALT & Words of Interest). He was born April 10, 1985 in the sunny hell known as the State of California. He has lived within the its borders most of his life.
From the ages of 5-10, he began drawing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Spider-Man, Earthworm Jim and short stories about his pet box tortoise, Boxer. They were critically acclaimed.
In 2006, after a few year break from drawing, he returned to his primitive tools of the trade (pencil and paper) to begin to draw comics. While in college, with many more years behind him and his life skill now leveled up, he was ready to show the world what he was made of! He created a comic about a rabbit named Reeder and posted it online. It was atrocious.
Finally in 2009, giving up on life itself, Denis created a comic named Large Air Whales Like Silence (Hey that’s this comic!). After two years of slaving over the art, story, and humor, he put L.A.W.L.S. Volume 1: Choking on Air together just for you. The comic is currently on hiatus while he works on other creative projects.
Denis currently resides somewhere, somehow, without a wife or children. He is trying to make art his full time job, in one way or another. Since placing L.A.W.L.S. on hiatus, Denis has gone on to create Corvink (an independent brand centered around his art), Raven Stitch Toys (a plush toy company based on his ideas), and worked on several other notable projects such as the Destined Legends trading card game.
