Are you using the word of the day from Dictionary.com? Sure this about the second or third time I’ve noticed one of these go up about the word I got the day before…..
That i am, in fact that’s exactly how I came up with the concept for this comic overall. One day I was on that site and I came across a funny word of the day and wanted to make comics based on the words as i was skimming their word of the day archive.Right now, I’m only picking out some of my favorite words from the last few days, but eventually what I’d like to do is always use the same word from the actual day and get the post schedule up to 5-7days a week. First though I still need to work out some kinks with my LAWLS schedule and frankly need to continue on my writing style before that ever happens… but these are definitely REALLY fun, so I’m looking forward to maybe one day doing that. Providing, also, that people continue to enjoy the concept, comment, and show it would be worth my time. :]
Thanks for the comment btw, I appreciate it.
haha, the return of the huge cock, brilliant
Really can’t get rid of a cock like that, can you? :P
No way you can conceal that cock. It’ll find its way out eventually. :DBut at least that abomination is dressed like a proper gentleman.
If you’re gonna be an abomination, you better do your best to make yourself look LESS so.
a very unknown fact about me is a am a colletor of the strange uncommon and just plain freaky, now knowing that i will tell you i have an asortment of much stranger and incomprehensible bandersnatchers from this world and many others,i wish to purchase this one if it is not too much troubleif so i can allways have my army of ninja beavers to kill it
Bandersnatch, as referenced in a poem form Lewis Carroll’s ‘Through the Looking Glass.’Such common words like ‘chortle’ (meaning to laugh) were created by Carroll, and many many others! Just like Shakespeare, his works are studied and loved, and just like him he is a wordsmith who has contributed a lot the English Language.Cool huh!?
So pretty much, you could say that pop culture (for the times) has shaped the way people use the language, even in history? Heh…
