The reaction you all had to that My Little Pony Strip I did last week cracked me up… particularly this comment: “I want a Cadence Pony…. I want one with the intensitiy of a thousand burning suns!”
I’ll be honest, I hated these as a kid. I’ve watched a few episodes of the new show, and it’s cute and I can see how my nieces would love it, but I don’t get the appeal at all. Bronies just make me arch an eyebrow and start wanting to ask questions.
There’s this turbo buff dude on Instagram who in hisdescription says that he is a “professional MMA fighter,” anytime I post one of my pony drawing on there he isGUARANTEEDto like it. To be frank, it creeps me the hell out. I started looking at the #MLP and #mylittlepony tags on there to see if he was doing the same to other people, and he was. What I came to realize is that I think he’s doing that trying to target girls who would in turn click his profile and see a big buff dude and follow him over it…. which is what make this whole thing extra creepy… I’m not sure if bronies have any sort of mentality like that… but this dudeprobablyisn’ta brony… just some sorta of creepy instapedophile. DX
i know an army of people who say the show is awesome but i just cant bring myself to watch it but the picture is funny and makes me laugh so this gets a thumbs up from me.
Pro tip: Its ok to skip the intro part at the beginning of each episode. Its simple… just watch the first three episodes and then decide if you want to watch the fourth.
I’m curious about the show, regardless of the whole fad and how there’s such a thing as a “brony,” I’m more just curious if its a good animation. I like cartoons, if they are good shows, I’ll watch em. Like Kim Possible… may be a chick show, but I still enjoyed it. Maybe one of these days I’ll get around to checking it out.Is the intro pretty bad?
I watched an episode the other day because I had an excuse. (I was babysitting my nephew who just turned a year old so he still likes bright colors.) It actually wasn’t that bad. I expected something horrible like the Regular Show, but it was actually very entertaining. Another fun fact about it? Lauren Faust (story artist on Powerpuff Girls and the head writer for Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends) is the “Creative Steward and Executive Producer”.
Epic wall paper, any chance I can get it in 1440p?
Woo! Another wallpaper to add to the collective…
Oh god… are you saving all these? lol I sure hope you don’t have some of those early ones. :P
Well, not the kawaii-vomit-chibi-fun-time one. Too disgustingly cute for my tastes…
haha really? Personally I’d rather have that one on my wallpaper than this one….you even have that terribleGullible’s travels one I did… don’t you?
Actually, yes. Yes I do. Even on my wallpaper rotation (although, seeing any one particular background might take a while… I have lots of wallpapers).
I WANT THE RED ONE !!!!
…why is this catching on so to everything?
because ponies are the cute-bomb.

Holy crap, I’m calling it right now, he’s on at least five different watch lists and I’m not talking about on twitter.

Even with context, it’s still batshit crazy. It comes from one of the Full Metal Panic spin offs.
